What we can do from the day we open

Everything on this page is something the practice is set up to do from the day it opens.

What you would come in for

Consultations and examinations

A thorough clinical examination of your pet by the team, in one of our examination rooms. We will tell you what we find, what we think, and what the choices are, including the choice to wait and see.

  • A proper examination, not a glance
  • The same vet and nurse at each visit, wherever possible
  • What we find, explained in plain words
  • Nothing to upsell

Surgery

Dr Rav is a keen surgeon with thousands of procedures under his belt, and he still finds it the most satisfying part of the job. Operations happen in-house using gold standard anaesthetic procedures, under the supervision of the same vet who examined your pet. Certificate holder surgeons also visit the clinic to perform operations.

  • Operations by Dr Rav and the team, here in the building
  • Supervised by the same vet who examined your pet
  • Kept in with us afterwards where that is the right thing
  • Post-operative care and advice

Internal medicine cases

The cases that need working through rather than a quick answer, where the history matters as much as the examination. It is the part of the job Dr Rav particularly enjoys, alongside surgery.

  • Time taken over the history
  • Tests run here, so less waiting
  • One vet holding the whole picture
  • Honest talk about what is worth doing

And what makes those possible, in the same building

In-house laboratory tests

We run laboratory tests here in the building rather than sending everything away.

Patients who need to stay in with us

Some pets need to stay with us for a while. We have the space and the nursing to do it properly: feeding, grooming, fluids, and someone keeping an eye on them.

Post-operative care and nutrition advice

What to do when you get home, what to watch for, and what to feed. Most of what goes wrong after an operation is avoidable if somebody tells you what to expect.
